Addictive and Psychotropic Substances

The chemicals not only about the chemical bahanbahan in households , such as bleach , cleaners , and food additives , but also Zatzat that can cause negative effects or adverse effects on health if misused its use . Chemicals referred to here is a group of chemicals that belong to the addictive and psychotropic substances .

1 . Addictive substances
Addictive substances is the term for the use of substances that can cause physical dependence and psychological dependence powerful long (drug dependence ) . The group is the addictive narcotic substances ( substances or drugs derived from plants ) or not plants , either synthetic or semisynthetic , which may lead to a decrease or change in consciousness , it reduces to relieve pain , and can lead to dependence . Narcotics according to the intended use and the level of dependence risks are divided into 3 categories, namely :


Group I , narcotics are only used for scientific purposes and not used in therapy and has a very high potential to lead to dependency syndrome .

Group II , narcotics for treatment that is used as a last resort and can be used in therapy or for scientific purposes and has a strong potential to lead to dependency syndrome .
Group III , narcotics for treatment and are widely used in therapy or for scientific purposes and potentially lead to mild dependence syndrome .

2 . psychotropic
Psychotropic substances or drugs are either natural or synthetic , not a narcotic and potent psychoactive through selective effect on the central nervous system that causes typical changes in mental activity and behavior . Psychotropic according to the intended use and the level of dependence risks are divided into four categories, namely :
Group I , psychotropic only used for scientific purposes and not used in therapy as well as having strong potential lead to dependency syndrome .

Group II , psychotropic medicinal properties and can be used in therapeutic and scientific purposes and has a strong potential dependence syndrome result .

Group III , psychotropic medicinal properties and is widely used in therapeutic and scientific purposes as well as being potentially lead to dependency syndrome .

Group IV , psychotropic medicinal properties and is very widely used in therapeutic and scientific purposes , and has the potential of resulting in a mild dependence syndrome .
Addictive and Psychotropic Substances
Addictive substances almost all belong to the psychotropic , but not all psychotropic addictive. The following belong to the class of psychotropic drugs , namely LSD ( Lysergic acid diethylamide ) and amphetamines . Both classes of psychotropic drugs abuse has been widespread in the world .
